ATLAS GmbH continue to ambitiously pursue their objective to expand and refine their global dealer network, thus enhancing the position of ATLAS as a strong brand on the construction machinery market, including South America. Consequently, they recently signed a contractual agreement with JT & Partners Ferrovias LTDA, São Paulo, as their new distributor for ATLAS material handlers in Brazil. .

Established in 1999 and headquartered in São Paulo, JTP work on logistics, operations at ports, transport operations of solid bulk, and the supply of rails and accessories for the installation of railways. With regard to machine sales, they place great emphasis on long-term relations with their clients and provide them with services and good maintenance – they are not just interested in selling and leaving. Therefore, they mostly work in structured projects and try to supply their clients with tailor-made solutions instead of just offering machines and competing on price. Their greatest experience is in the log handling market, but they are aiming to enter the Brazilian scrap segment as well. What happens in the forestry industry market is reflected in scrap and steel mill markets. In order to expand the current JTP product offering of large machines in the range of 60 to 390 tons only for large companies, the cooperation with ATLAS will allow them to offer the full range of material handlers and put together complete solutions with all their knowhow, as they have already done for their customers in the past 10 years. Joining the Atlas Group will be a win-win situation for all.
