The bauma in Munich is the most important meeting place for the industry and it opened its gates to the fair ground for the 34th time on April 7. Here, ATLAS GmbH exhibit their most recent innovations to an international audience and exchange ideas with industry experts, partners, and customers on the future of the construction and lifting industry. Their presentation at the fair emphasizes the continuous advancement and innovative power of the company that has been setting standards in the construction industry for more than a century.

On a cool but sunny first day of the bauma, the ATLAS booth (FM.713/2) in the outdoor exhibition area already drew a large audience, eager to take an exciting tour of the company’s latest advancements and technologies. The booth is located in a prestigious position at the center of the bauma, ensuring high visibility and accessibility for visitors, customers, and partners. With an area of about 1,000 square meters, it is significantly larger than in the past and provides ample space for the exhibits and presentations. ATLAS also cater for the physical well-being of their guests: they have their own restaurant at the booth and, cooperating with a long-term regional partner, they actively support the local economy and offer high-quality regional dishes. On April 12, as a special highlight of this year’s bauma, they will celebrate the 15th anniversary of the come-back of ATLAS – another landmark event in the company’s history which, by now, spans more than a century.

In the evening of the first day of the fair, ATLAS invited about 300 dealers, customers, guests, and partners to attend an exclusive event. This was not just a party held in a pleasant atmosphere, but ATLAS created a special moment of appreciation: Mrs. Véronique Filipov, owner of the ATLAS group, and Mr. Brahim Stitou, CEO, honored selected dealers for their long-standing partnership and their continuing loyalty to the ATLAS brand. The celebratory acknowledgement emphasized the close relationship and mutual trust that ATLAS and its partners could rely on for many years.

“It is our goal to strengthen the cooperation with our existing dealers while we are also building new partnerships”, says Brahim Stitou. “Hundreds of dealers and business partners from all over the world already expressed interest to visit us at our booth. We take this as proof that our concept meets with a positive response. Our employees, dealers, suppliers, customers, and business partners are the foundation on which our success is based and we are sincerely grateful for their long-standing trusting cooperation. We proudly carry the label ‘Made in Germany’ and stand for quality, innovation and reliability. I want to especially thank our dedicated team for their unremitting efforts to get everything ready for bauma. Without them, this success would not be possible – they are the backbone of ATLAS.”

At bauma, ATLAS exhibit 21 machines from their impressive product range – a cross-section of their most recent developments and technologies: from wheeled, crawler and rail-road excavators, material handlers, and loader cranes via mini and midi excavators and lifting platforms to cabs and attachments for excavators and cranes.

The design engineers of ATLAS GmbH boosted the power of their most recent wheeled excavators, thus achieving significant improvements. In addition, new standards were set in view of stability, cross-country mobility and hydraulic precision in order to maximize the versatility of the wheeled excavators at all applications. The completely redesigned “feel-good cab” features an even better interior configuration and a new air conditioning as well as 360-degree panoramic views; low noise levels; excellent ventilation and ergonomic concept as well as a host of stowage possibilities and even more space. Special emphasis was placed on clear arrangement, health, comfort, and functionality.

Arne Fröhlich, manager of design engineering for ATLAS excavators, comments: “In our engineering department, we consequently pursue innovation and advancement. With the new short-tail wheeled excavator 135 WSR, the rail-road excavator 235RR, the powerful material handler 450 MH and the revolutionary armored cab, we set new standards in view of efficiency, safety, and ergonomics.
